Evo Internal Ignition Control is intended for use with Evo type engines. The G-2300 replaces your stock or after market unit on '78-'99 models using your stock rotor. It can also be used on earlier models with points and mechanical advance.
The G-2300 offers adjustable advance,adjustable RPM limit settings in 100 RPM increments and switch selectable Grandeur signle or dual fire modes. Single fire improves starting, reduces backfiring a low engine speeds and improves power at high RPM. A red LED flashes when the engine reaches top dead center(TDC) and allows easy static timing. A status LED provides diagonstic info.
Trim pots on the unit face allow for easy setting of all modes.
A special feature allows use of the tach wire for an RS-232 link to a laptop computer when the engine is not running. THis allows custom surves to be added or changed without removal of your cam cover.
